Sunday’s home game between the Washington Redskins and the Cincinnati Bengals is almost
too painful to recall—literally. In the rough-and-tumble 38-31 defeat, quarterback
Robert Griffin III would disappear under a pile of Bengals and then, amazingly, jump out and still able
to walk. There seems to be a general opinion this Monday morning that while the Redskins
did not do well, Griffin continued to prove he’s exciting and tough. That was the
prevailing opinion on Twitter, too, though some fans are genuinely worried for his
safety.
RG3 weighed in on the matter with his own tweet: “It’s not about getting knocked down
or getting up. It’s about getting up and not being discouraged from your plan to succeed.”
Here’s a random selection of tweets about the game.
