To any avid runner, Bart Yasso is a household name. Runner’s World magazine’s chief running officer will be at Potomac River Running Store in Burke tomorrow at 7 PM.

Yasso, one of the few runners to complete a race on all seven continents, will be at the store to answer any questions you might have about running and training. He’ll also lead a training run for the Runner’s World Half Marathon.

Yasso is the author of My Life On the Run and has competed in the Ironman fives times, but he’s probably best known for developing the Yasso 800s, a marathon-training schedule that thousands of marathon runners use to this day. The idea behind the training method is that you can predict your marathon time by comparing it to your 800 time. (Read more about the method over at Runner’s World.)

The fun run with Yasso will also include test runs with Altra Zero Drop Footwear, plus food and drinks.
