Next year, Rockville residents will get their very own Sport & Health club.

On Monday, Sport & Health announced plans to open its 24th location at Pike & Rose, the new development in the works for the White Flint District, at Montrose Parkway, Rockville Pike, and Old Georgetown Road.

The new 32,000-square-foot facility will be Sport & Health’s most luxurious fitness center yet, according to a rep. It’s going to feature a mind-and-body studio dedicated to yoga and relaxation, a cycling studio featuring virtual rides, and a section dedicated to Sport & Health’s Kidz Klub, which will feature interactive video games for children.

Another perk: Gym-goers will be able to take their training outside at the club’s elevated outdoor space.

When it opens in fall 2014, Sport & Health will become the first gym to become part of the revitalization of the White Flint District. Pike & Rose plans to be a walk-friendly neighborhood on 24 acres, with 1,500 residential units, office space, hotels, and restaurants, including Protein Bar, Roti Mediterranean Grill, and ShopHouse.
