If you love Momofuku–and based on the lines, we know many of you do–then chef David Chang has an early Christmas present for you. On Wednesday, December 23, the CityCenterDC restaurant will offer Southern fried chicken lunchboxes to-go from 11 am to 3 pm.
Similar to Pupusa Mondays, there’s only a limited number of meals available (two per customer). Chang’s crispy birds grace the menu at several other restaurants, including reservation-only whole fried chicken dinners at Momofuku CCDC, which go for $135 per person. Thankfully the lunchtime combo is only $12 for two pieces (breast and thigh), a freshly-baked buttermilk biscuit, and coleslaw. Milk Bar compost cookies can be included for an additional $2.25.
