Newly Engaged? Crash a wedding this month

Newly Engaged? Crash a wedding this month
Tweet Share

For the newly engaged, feeling excited can quickly turn into feeling overwhelmed when there’s a mile-long to-do list to contend with. From flowers to photos and everything in between, there are hundreds of details that go into crafting an utterly unforgettable wedding day.

Fortunately, soon-to-be-newlyweds in the D.C. metro area will have the opportunity to step back and see their big day in a whole new way thanks to Lights. Camera. I DO!, a unique staged wedding event taking place on February 21 at the recently renovated Bethesda Marriott.

Lights. Camera. I DO! is a mock “wedding” event planned and designed by full-service event company Exclusively Entertainment with busy brides and grooms in mind.

From the perspective of a “wedding guest,” couples can visualize and plot every detail of their wedding day, from the first walk down the aisle to the last drink at the reception. Lights. Camera. I DO! provides couples with valuable face time with more than 50 of the D.C. metro area’s top-rated wedding vendors, including hair, makeup, gown & tuxedo, catering and floral professionals and more.

The intimate Lights. Camera. I DO! “wedding” and bridal showcase is a daylong event from Noon to 6 p.m., with two distinct times for brides and grooms to attend.

Noon to 3 p.m. is for ticketed “Wedding Guests,” who will enjoy “The Ceremony,” “The Cocktail Hour” and “The Reception.” From 3 to 6 p.m., “Wedding Crashers” — those bypassing the earlier events — will have the opportunity to mingle with the area’s finest wedding professionals, such as Hitched Bridal Couture, Nour Kazoun Make Up Artistry and Sareh Nouri New York among others.

Tickets are $60 for a pair of “Wedding Guest” passes (includes stationed lunch complements of Bethesda Marriott) and $15 for individual “Wedding Crasher” tickets. Purchase tickets and learn more about Lights. Camera. I DO! at www.LightsCameraIDo.com.

Event Date + Time:
