Art and Soul: The Capitol Hill spot not only allows dogs on the patio; it also offers a dog-specific menu that includes grilled steak and beef tips with rice. 415 New Jersey Ave., NW; 202-393-7777.

Jackson 20: The Hotel Monaco’s restaurant hosts a “yappy hour”—a cocktail time for dogs and their owners—in the courtyard every Thursday, April through October. 480 King St., Alexandria; 703-842-2790.

Logan Tavern: Logan Tavern—along with EatWellDC’s other District restaurants, Commissary, the Heights, Grillfish, and the Pig—teams up with City Dogs Rescue to host an annual fundraiser. Logan also provides treats for dogs accompanying diners on the patio. 1423 P St., NW; 202-332-3710.

Loggia Lounge at the Fairmont: While their owners sip cocktails in the Fairmont lobby, dogs enjoy house-made peanut-butter treats prepared by the hotel’s pastry chef. 2401 M St., NW; 202-429-2400.
