Touchdown! Where to Score the Best Beer, Booze, and Buffalo Wings for the Bowl

More: Restaurants Celebrating the Super Bowl | Great Sports Bars

Saints or Colts won’t be the only choice you’ll have to make Super Bowl Sunday. Bottomless wings or build-your-own nachos bar? Dirt-cheap drafts or set-price open bar? Luckily, we’ve got you covered with our list of bar specials guaranteed to make your game day go a little smoother:

Argonaut
This Atlas District bar will celebrate by serving up $10 pitchers of its house-brewed Argonaut Booty beer. All other pitchers will be $15, and wings will be half the usual $8 price. Once the game starts, catch it on one of ten screens, including a 52-inch HD flat-screen.

Arlington Cinema ‘N’ Drafthouse
Sports bars may boast big-screen TVs, but you can’t get much bigger than a movie theater. The Drafthouse will show the game for free with its regular tableside service.

The Bottom Line
Enjoy the cover-free Super Bowl party at this Foggy Bottom bar. Beer specials will be $2.50 Miller Lite bottles, $3.50 Classic Amber Drafts, $10 Miller Lite pitchers, and $12 Classic Amber pitchers. There will also be $3 appetizers, including wings, tater tots, mini-turkey corn dogs, beer-battered onion rings, nachos, miniature meat balls, and a veggie platter.

Buffalo Billiards
This chain boasts four ten-foot projection screens and more than 45 flat-screens. Additionally, there will be half-price wing specials and $3 Miller Lites—and with each you buy, you get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 37-inch flat-screen TV.

Champps Americana
This Pentagon City bar has 22 screens where you can get Colts-vs.-Saints action. For those planning on watching the game at home, there’s a to-go special: buy ten wings and get ten free.

Crystal City Sports Pub
There are plenty of screens to go around at this Crystal City spot, which is offering an all-inclusive deal for $39.99. Guests can partake in a 4:30 appetizer buffet, halftime dinner, drink specials, prizes, and reserved seating.

Ireland’s Four Courts
At this Irish pub, drink specials will be $3.50 Peroni drafts. You can also get 45-cent wings until the game ends. Additionally, you’ll hear the game better—the bar just got a brand new surround-sound system.

Ireland’s Four Fields
At this Irish pub in Woodley Park, you can get $12 pitchers of beer, including Shock Top, Sierra Nevada, Land Shark Lager, Rolling Rock, Yuengling, and Bud Light. For earlybirds who arrive before the game, the bar is setting up a free appetizer bar that includes subs, meatballs, and hot dogs until the game starts at 6.

James Hoban’s
This Dupont bar is extending its happy-hour specials until midnight. This means there will be $4 dollar draft beers, $4 rail drinks, $4 red and white wines, and a $4 small-plates menu. Happy hour starts at 4.

Lucky Bar
Lucky Bar has polished its 22 TVs and two HD big-screens for the big game. Specials will include 25-cent wings, $3 pints of Yuengling, and $12 pitchers of Yuengling.

McFadden’s
McFadden’s continues its tradition of hosting one of the area’s biggest Super Bowl parties. Specials are $3 Miller Lites and Coors Lights, $10 pitchers, $5 wing baskets, and half-price burgers during the game. With every Miller Lite purchase, you get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a big-screen TV.

Mie N Yu
While its usual Sunday happy hour ends at 7, tonight Mie N Yu will be extending it to midnight. Happy-hour specials include beers starting at $4.25 and cocktails and wine for $5.45. You can also get dim sum appetizers that start at $3 each. Earlier this year, the Georgetown restaurant and bar added flat-screens in the bar and lounge area, where you can watch the game. There will also be full dinner service until 11.

Mister Days Sports Rock Cafe
This Clarendon bar doesn’t just have nearly a hundred screens for you to enjoy the game—it also will have the Redskins Cheerleaders dancing and chanting (they didn’t have any other pressing engagements this season). Your ticket to the Super Bowl party for $20 includes a $10 food voucher, door prizes, raffles, giveaways, and guaranteed seating (you can pick your seat or table ahead of time and it will be reserved by name starting at 4). Pregame specials from 11 to 3 include half-price appetizers.

My Brother’s Place
A $25 All U Care to Drink Special starts at 4:30 here. It includes mixed rail drinks and draft beers such as Guinness, Yuengling, Coors Lite, and Miller Lite. Throughout the game, the bar will serve free hors d’oeuvres.

Nellie’s Sports Bar
Options at the straight-friendly gay sports bar include $3 rail drinks, $3 mimosas, $3 Bloody Marys, and $12 buckets of beer.

Old Dominion Brewhouse
Football won’t be the only game here: The head-to-head competition starts early with a Pre-Super Bowl Skeeball Tournament. For $10, teams can compete to win a VIP table with free food and drink during the game. But you don’t have to be a Skeeball champion to have a good time—every team that enters gets a free tower of Bud Light.

Penn Quarter Sports Tavern
The multilevel space shows loyalty to dozens of teams, but it will be Saints and Colts fans cheering loudest starting at 5, when the bar will offer a party package including all-you-can drink beer, Bloody Marys, and mimosas as well as all-you-can-eat food throughout the game. Ladies get a discount with $30 tickets, whereas guys pay $60. The party will fit in some good deeds, too: A 50-50 raffle benefits Haiti-relief efforts.

Porter’s Dining Saloon
For $25, football fans can help themselves to all-you-can-drink Miller Lite, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and rail drinks as well as an appetizer buffet and a build-your-own-nachos bar from 4 PM to 2 AM.

Pour House
Though it’s usually Pittsburgh territory, this Capitol Hill watering hole welcomes all fans for $20 all-you-can-drink Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Yuengling as well as $15 all-you-can-eat hot dogs and hamburgers from kickoff through the end of the game.

Public Bar
There’s not a bad seat in the house at this TV-dotted downtown sports bar, not to mention specials like $3 Miller Lites, $2 PBRs, half-price hot dogs, 50-cent wings, and bottomless chips and salsa. One lucky guest will take home a new HD TV.

Remingtons
Specials at this Capitol Hill gay bar are yet to be decided, but it promises discounted drafts during the game.

Rhino Bar & Pumphouse
To quench the inevitable thirst from 25-cent wings, $8 pitchers of Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Bud Light will be available throughout the game. Upstairs, an hour of open bar ($25) will precede the broadcast, and a halftime raffle, sponsored by Miller Lite, will award a video camera and a 42-inch flat-screen TV to a few lucky guests.

Rocket Bar
Miller Lite drafts and bottles are only $3 during the game, and reps from Captain Morgan will be around for giveaways.

Sign of the Whale
While the game is on, enjoy $3 domestic bottles, 25 cent wings, and $1 hot dogs at this downtown DC dive.

Tommy Joe’s
$3 Bud and Bud Light bottles and drafts will be available during the game as well as half-price wings and quesadillas.

Ventnor Sports Cafe
Fans can reserve a seat and enjoy Miller Lite specials throughout the game.

Whitlow’s on Wilson
Game-day specials abound at this Clarendon bar and grill. From 5 until the end of the game, you can fill up on $2-off appetizers (excluding wings), $6.95 rib basket with fries, $4 mozzarella sticks, and $4.50 jalapeño poppers. Pitchers of Yuengling and Miller Lite are $10, and a half-time raffle includes prizes such as a weekend getaway to the Outer Banks, a $100 Whitlow’s gift card, and more.

Willy K’s
Fans will have built up an appetite by half-time—luckily this Greenbelt cafe will offer a free buffet of Super Bowl standards (think nachos and hot dogs). Three-dollar domestic drafts will wash it all down.
