Chef Mike Isabella’s Mediterranean-inspired Thanksgiving menu includes a spit-roasted turkey rubbed with Greek spices and sides like squash orzzotto. All items can be ordered a la carte, and picked up in both DC and Arlington.

Details: Orders are accepted through Sunday, November 22. Pick up on Thursday, November 26 between 10 and noon.

Hill Country Barbecue Market

410 7th St. NW

This Texas-style barbecue spot serves a carryout dinner of turkey, cornbread, and a choice of sides and pies. The meals come in two sizes: “feast” and “banquet,” so nobody is going home hungry.

Details: The Ranchers Feast serves 5 to 8 and costs $210. The Governors Banquet serves 9 to 12 and costs $300. Orders accepted through November 20, pick up on or before November 26 at noon.

Centrolina

947 Palmer Alley, NW

Chef Amy Brandwein gives Thanksgiving an Italian twist at her CityCenterDC market/restaurant. Her catering menu has antipasto platters like eggplant caponata with yogurt sauce & crostini, alongside cider brined free-range turkeys. Details: Order by November 20; pickup on or before Thursday, November 26 at 1:30 pm.

Smokehouse Live

We’re fans of this new-ish barbecue joint, which serves up pit-smoked turkey and pumpkin pie are on the Thanksgiving to-go menu.

Chef Victor Albisu puts a South American spin on Thanksgiving feasts, offering herb-smoked and oven-ready turkeys, chorizo and chapa bread stuffing, pumpkin risotto, and more.

Details: Orders accepted through Sunday, November 22 at 8 pm; pickup Wednesday, November 25 until 10 pm.

Anthem at Marriott Marquis

901 Massachusetts Ave, NW

Chef Matthew Morrison’s to-go meals come with a main course, choice of dessert, and a generous mix of sides. For every dinner they sell, the Marriott Marquis will donate a turkey to DC Central Kitchen.

Details: The Turkey Dinner is $299; the Prime Rib Dinner is $360. Both serve 6 to 8. Order by 5 pm on November 20. Pickup on November 26 from10 am to 4 pm.

Society Fair

277 S. Washington St., Alexandria

With a butcher, baker, grocer, and wine bar all under one roof, Alexandria’s emporium is a Thanksgiving one-stop shop. A dinner-to-go bag of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, and other essentials makes sourcing even easier.

Details: The to-go bag meal serves two and costs $85. Order by November 21, pickup on or before November 25 at 5 pm. Other items are available a la carte.

BlackSalt

This seafood market offers brined and oven-ready local turkeys, as well as appetizers like cured salmon and crab cakes, and staples (cranberry sauce, gravy).

The Thanksgiving-to-go menu of this restaurant’s Potomac location is packed with cornbread, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and other wholesome American classics.

Red Apron Butchery

Chef Nate And a specializes in meats—including fresh or brined heritage turkeys—and offers sides like pimento mac n’ cheese, roasted mushroom bread pudding, and gravy on the menu.
