We get a little Halloween-obsessed here at Washingtonian. And why not? With enough real frights
in life, what’s better than indulging in the
fake kind? We plan to bring you as many Halloween-related
stories as possible over
the next couple of weeks. But for now, let us take you back to
Markoff’s Haunted Forest,
outside Poolesville, Maryland, which we wrote about last
week.
Now we give you the video experience. Washingtonian videographer Melissa Romero visited Markoff’s on opening night to record what it’s
like to walk their spooky trails. Romero said, “I just scared myself and jumped out
of my seat while editing this haunted video.” You’ll see why.
