Neighborhood Eats: Stoney’s

The setting might be different—in 2006, this old dive was forced out of its downtown home of 37 years and ended up in a trendier location across from the Logan Circle Whole Foods—and the crowd might be more popped-collar than blue-collar. But the famous Super Grilled Cheese—a buttery sandwich stuffed with American cheese, onions, tomatoes, and bacon—remains the same. Beyond that, stick to the classic bar fare: hearty chili, Buffalo wings with a kick, and a sloppy (in a good way) burger.
