Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Every morning, we’ll let you know where the area’s food trucks are rolling

A lot of trucks are taking today off, nursing their (food) hangovers from last Friday's big Truckeroo party. Some are getting right back on the bike, though, and have new menu items: Cheesecake Truck is unveiling a white-chocolate-and-raspberry sweet, and Eat Stix has a salad with feta, watermelon, cucumber, and onion.  Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you'll find Yellow Vendor, Marco Polo from Sâuçá, Eat Stix, and Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1's second stop at 18th and K sts., NW).

Franklin Square (13th and K sts., NW),
where you'll find Benethiopia from Fojol Bros and Sol Mexican Grill.

Foggy Bottom (20th St. and Pennsylvania, Ave., NW),
where you'll find the Big Cheese and Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 2's third stop).

L'Enfant (Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW),
where you'll find Dippin Dots, Sabor'a Street, O'Crepes, and Magellan from Sâuçá.

Metro Center (12th and G. sts, NW),
where you'll find the Cheesecake Truck (first stop), Saucalito from Sâuçá, Red Hook Lobster (13th St. and Pennsylvania Ave., NW), Tasty Kabob, Fry Captain, Merlindia from Fojol Bros, and The Ficelle.

Navy Yard (around M St. and New Jersey Ave., SE),
where you'll find DC Slices.

Northern Virginia, where you'll find District Taco (Ballston), Sweet Fleet (Ballston, Virginia Square, Courthouse, and Shirlington), and Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn).

State Department/West End (20th St. and Virginia Ave., NW), where you'll find Pi Truck and Pangea from Sâuçá. Carnivore BBQ  is at 21st and M streets, Northwest.

Union Station (around First and G sts., NE),
where you'll find the Cheesecake Truck (third stop).
