Yesterday, #WithSyria posters designed by street artist Banksy showed up all over the Capitol Hill area in a campaign designed to raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis in Syria on the third anniversary of the country’s uprising.

The posters were just phase one: All this week, the With Syria campaign is organizing events around Washington to amplify its cause. Wednesday, March 12, the poster will be projected onto the exterior of four Washington landmarks from 8 to 9 PM: the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the National Gallery, and the Supreme Court. There’s also a vigil outside the White House tonight, and another vigil with red balloons by the Capitol Reflecting Pool on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 PM.
