New Age duo Deva Premal and Miten, on tour to promote the newly-released Password, perform with Manose at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue on October 11. Tickets ($40) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

August 20th is the first ever Help the Heroes concert at the 9:30 Club. Benefiting the City of Fairfax’s fire department charity for muscular dystrophy, the show will feature performances by local bands the Speaks, Atrium, and Foreverisforever. Tickets ($20) are on sale Thursday at 10 AM through Ticketfly.

Electropop fans will want to catch the Hard Summer Tour when it arrives at the 9:30 Club on August 19. Some of the acts performing include Digitalism, Caspa, and Destructo. Get your tickets ($30) on Thursday at 10 AM from Ticketfly.

Finally, tickets are now on sale for the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Uncle Vanya. The Chekhovian tragicomedy stars Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett, and runs from August 4 to August 27 at the Kennedy Center. Tickets ($59 to $120) can be purchased through the Ken Cen’s website.
