National chain Zoës Kitchen will open its 98th branch this month in Alexandria. The Mediterranean-style counter-service spot has four other locations in Northern Virginia—in Reston, Arlington, Woodbridge, and Fairfax.

What does one eat there? You’ll find healthy options such as a hummus platter or a quinoa salad with tomato, onion, and celery. “Classic” sandwiches include tuna and pimiento cheese; there are also grilled and pita ’wiches. Menus vary by location, and Zoës offers catering as well. Press materials from the chain point out that the menu features several gluten-free options.
Look for the new location to debut at 3644 King Street.
