Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Every morning, we’ll let you know where the area’s food trucks are rolling.

Happy Friday, readers! It sure is dreary out there, but that's not stopping our brave fleet of food trucks from setting up shop. As you probably know, at the end of the week, trucks like to crowd around Farragut Square and Franklin Park. If you've been missing Takorean, it's back and headed to L'Enfant today. A map and full list of locations after the jump.

Downtown DC, where you'll find Big Cheese Truck (20th and L sts., NW) and Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1's first stop at 18th St. and Pennsylvania Ave., NW, second stop at 18th and E sts., NW).

Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW),
where you'll find Austin Grill Truck, Carnivore BBQ, DC Slices, a Sâuçá truck, Sweet Bites Truck, and El Floridano. One Red Hook Lobster truck is nearby on 17th Street, Northwest, between L and M streets (the other is in Woodley Park).

Franklin Park (13th and K sts., NW),
where you'll find a Sâuçá truck, DC Empanadas, DC Pie Truck, Merlindia from Fojol Bros., Sang on Wheels, and Pi Truck DC. Pedro and Vinny's is nearby at 15th and K streets, Northwest

GWU area,
where you'll find Tasty Kabob, Cap Mac (State Department at 20th St. and Virginia Ave., NW), and Benethiopia from Fojol Bros. (State Department).

L'Enfant (Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW),
where you'll find Takorean and a Sâuçá truck.

Metro Center (around 12th and G sts., NW),
where you'll find a Sâuçá truck, Curbside cupcakes (Pinky 1's third stop), and Sabor'a Street.

Northern Virginia,
where you'll find Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky's 2's second stop in Ballston, third stop in Rosslyn), Tasty Kabob carts at 1525 Wilson Boulevard and 1735 Lynn Street, Doug the Food Dude (Boone and Howard, Tysons), and Maple Ave. Express (in Tysons).

Union Station, where you'll find PORC.
