More news from the boil beat. We’ve already discussed those Wednesday crab boils on the patio at Art and Soul. Then there’s Evening Star Cafe’s outdoor crawfish happening in Del Ray this weekend, complete with live music, cobbler, and beer and wine specials. Now comes words of another Saturday boil, this one to take place at the always jamming Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, the newest restaurant from the Black Restaurant Group. (Though it won’t be the newest for long—Black’s next project involves the largest raw bar on the East Coast, as we first reported back in November.)

Pearl Dive’s boil happens Saturday, June 23, with two seatings—one at noon, the other at 2:30. According to assistant manager Beau Monroe, a $60 ticket (anyone under 21 gets in for $20) buys you two hours of all-you-can eat crawfish, peel-and-eat shrimp, and suckling pig. In the all-you-can-drink category, the restaurant is offering unlimited Abita ales. The food is served family style, and Monroe says the event will be “super casual”—just show up and chow down.

Get tickets online or by calling the restaurant at 202-319-1612.
