Carlyle Suites Hotel

Editor's Pick: Best Value

The art deco-style Carlyle Hotel is well-suited for longer stays, including long-term business travelers, international visitors, and students and school groups.

The guestrooms are quite homey. All rooms include a kitchenette, Tempur-Pedic beds, and flat-screen HD televisions. The rooms are spacious, some with two closets, so they’re also a good choice for families.

The in-house dining option, Twist, includes a bar/lounge off the lobby and indoor atrium. Sunday brunches take place from 11 am to 3 pm, although no breakfast is included in the guest rate.

Although the Carlyle is not as close to the Dupont Circle Metro stop as some other hotels, guests get a lot of space for the money, and service is family-oriented.
