Lunch & Dinner Feasts
Though Cathal Armstrong, chef/owner of this Old Town gem, has been flashing his grin everywhere from the cover of Food & Wine to the James Beard Awards, he hasn’t forgotten about the little people—or at least the customers who want a quick taste of his cooking at bargain prices. The $13.50 “lickity split” lunch menu, available weekdays between 11:30 and 4 at the cozy bar, lets you pick two items from a short list of cocktails, entrées, and desserts.
The lineup changes, but you can always expect the terrific bacon-egg-and-cheese salad (a dish reprised on the much costlier tasting menu), mixologist Todd Thrasher’s green-apple vodka martini, and a miniature pink-iced birthday cake, rainbow jimmies and all.
