Best of 2004: Raciest Restroom

Heritage India's bathroom is rated R for racy.

With gleaming floors, black granite counters, and floor-to-ceiling stall doors, the facilities at the Dupont Circle branch of Heritage India restaurant (1337 Connecticut Ave., NW; 202-331-1414) are squeaky clean. The art on the walls isn't: Bookending the long, narrow space are prints from the Kama Sutra, the Hindu sex manual, depicting couples in amazingly energetic contortions. Don't miss the shenanigans between the first two stalls.
