In business more than 100 years, Georgetown's Morgan Care Pharmacy (3031 P St., NW; 202-337-4100) is a charmingly retro alternative to chain drugstores. The quirky merchandise ranges from rain bonnets and key-wound alarm clocks to homeopathic and herbal remedies to Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream and Pinaud Lime Sec cologne. Morgan's also sells something money can't buy. "Nine out of ten times," says employee Wayne Monk–second cousin of Thelonious–"people walk through the door and we know them by name."Washingtonian staffers contributing to this section were Cristina Abello, Susan Baer, Susan Davidson, Ken DeCell, Rebecca Dreilinger, Kim Isaac Eisler, Mary Clare Fleury, Kimberly Forrest, Brooke Lea Foster, Garrett M.
