If you're a fan of either American Idol or America's Next Top Model, the following two events are a must-see for you.
Tomorrow, Friday, May 18, is the final of DC Idol, where one lucky man or woman with the best singing abilities will be crowned the DC Idol (and win a five-hour recording session and professional demo from a local recording studio). The top 12 finalists will perform tomorrow night at the Arlington Cinema 'n Drafthouse (2903 Columbia Pike) at 7pm. Entrance is $5.. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in support of the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign.
Then tonight (Thursday, May 18) from 5 pm to 7 pm at Urban Chic in Georgetown (1626 Wisconsin Ave., NW), America's Next Top Model will be holding tryouts. Not interested in being the next potential cover girl? Urban Chic will also be offering a 20% discount on all denim.
