Happy Hump Day! Some Wednesday Night Events

Looking to get past the middle of the week and start thinking about the weekend? Here are some events taking place tonight that'll keep you entertained.

For just $10, you, too, can gain admission to the 9:30 Club (815 V St., NW) to see the sure-to-be-thrilling regional US Air Guitar Championships. The area’s finest performers will show their stuff in an epic battle. 7:30 pm.

Hillary Clinton's Club 44 hosts a concert tonight in the City Center Lot at 11th and H Streets, NW. Some political bigwigs, like Madeline Albright and Hillary herlsef, will be there, as well as music provided by American Idol Katherine McPhee, and Babyface. $20, 5 to 7 pm.

Be Bi at BeBar (1318 9th Street, NW)! The gay lounge in Shaw is offering up a special happy hour tonight (called Be Bi) in honor of this weekend's Capital Pride festivities. You'll get half-price martinis and $2 rail drinks with a donation to Capital Pride. 6 pm.

Christopher Janney, a renowned artist and architect who does public installations (his work's been in several airports across the country), will be speaking at the Corcoran (500 17th Street, NW) this evening. 7 pm, $20. 

It's gorgeous out—why not head to the Clarendon Ballroom (3185 Wilson Blvd.), where every Wednesday from 5 until 7 pm, they offer $1 beers on their rooftop?
