We checked out Clarendon’s packed new restaurant, Eventide (3165 Wilson Blvd., Arlington; 703-276-3165), and asked diners what they thought of the food (everything from lamb shank to lobster tagliatelle), the brick-walled space, and the roof deck. As one diner said of the romantic vibe, “I should have come here with my beautiful girlfriend.”
