Don’t get us wrong: It’s not that we don’t appreciate getting some snow—in fact, we dedicated an entire playlist to Washington’s first snowfall back in February— but, well, this is Washington, after all. If we enjoyed being miserably cold for extended periods, we’d be living in New York City or Chicago.
Now, we know it’s hard to think of sunshine and blue skies when it’s about 20 degrees outside. And, yes, springtime doesn’t officially kick in for another couple of weeks, but we’re feeling strangely optimistic. After all, temperatures are supposed to reach the 60s by the weekend. So go ahead, call us delusional, but we’re high with spring fever. Perhaps if you give our playlist a listen, so will you.
