What to do for fun this week!

Monday: Intro to Improv
Washington Improv Theater is holding free “Intro to Improv” workshops today through Friday for those who’d like to test the waters of the improvisational world. The games begin at 7 each evening and last two hours. As the theater puts it, “Improv helps you get out of those bad situations and into awesome ones.” 7 to 9 PM at the Studio School. Sign up here.

Tuesday: Peeps Almighty
The Washington Post's enormously popular Peeps diorama contest comes to PS 7's tonight for a special happy hour. For $20, you can view some of the top entries into the contest, and sip on a special cocktail menu created by bartender extraordinaire Gina Chersevani and nosh on finger foods by chef Peter Smith. 6 PM; purchase your tickets here.

Wednesday: Miles to Go at DC9
Miles Kurosky, former frontman of dreamy pop outfit Beulah, has gone solo, and his latest record is a lovely, lush piece of rock. Catch him tonight at DC9. 8:30 PM; $12 in advance, $14 day of. Get tickets here.

Thursday: Artini at Rasika
Tonight's the last feature Artini cocktail night before the big event this Saturday at the Corcoran (have you got your tickets yet?). Rasika's Jason Strich will be concocting a delicious drink inspired by Joseph Mallord Turner's paining, "Boats Carrying Out Anchors to the Dutch Men of War." 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
