Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Every morning, we’ll let you know where the area’s food trucks are rolling.

Twenty trucks are racing to the first annual DC Curbside Cookoff today and tomorrow from 11 to 9 in CityCenterDC's lot (11th and H sts., NW). Click here for more information and a list of participating vendors. Customers can vote on paper ballots and via text for their favorite truck.

Here's where you can find more trucks, including sister vehicles of some Curbside participants.

Curbside Cupcakes: First stop: Federal Triangle (15th and E sts., NW); Second stop: Fourth and G streets, Northwest; Third stop: Federal Center (Third and D sts., SW); Fourth stop: Union Station (First and G sts., NE).

DC Slices: 13th and K streets, Northwest, from 11:30 to 3.

Food Chain DC: North Capitol and E streets, Northwest; 14th street and New York Avenue, Northwest; 17th and M streets, Northwest; M street (between Conn. Ave. and 17th st., NW); L'Enfant  Promenade (between Independence Ave. and D st., SW); Howard University: 6th street (between Fairmont st. and Howard Pl., NW)

Sidewalk Sweets: Curbside Cookoff from 2 to 5, then the Seventh street landing on the Southwest waterfront (Seventh and Water sts., SW) from 5:30 to 8.

Solar Crepes: Fairfax Drive and North Stuart Street, Arlington, from 8:30 to 1:45.

Tasty Kabob: Cart 1: 1200 South Hayes Street (at S. 12th St., Arlington); Cart 2: 1525 Wilson Boulevard (next to Safeway and Lynne St., Arlington) from 11 to 3.
