The band the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, made up of Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl, play music that’s dark and dreamy. They’ll be at the Iota Club & Café at 8:30. Tickets are $15 at the door, and it’s first come, first served.
Wednesday, January 12
Urban Chic is hosting a benefit along with the Children’s National Junior Council. Get 15 percent off all dresses, and sample Georgetown cupcakes and Champagne, and proceeds go to the Children’s National Medical Center. 6 to 8; no cover. RSVP here.

Opening tonight at the National Museum of the American Indian is “R.C. Gorman: Early Prints and Drawings, 1966-1974.” The artist has been called the “Picasso of American Indian art,” and 28 of his works, including a rare self-portrait, are on display through May 1. Free.
