Valentine’s Day Staycations

You don’t need to go far to get amorous with the one you love—local hotels are offering plenty of romance-filled specials.

Even when it doesn’t fall on a Monday, there’s never quite enough time to steal away on Valentine’s Day. Fortunately, many area hotels are offering couples “staycations” designed to squeeze every ounce of romance out of a weekend. We’ve compiled a few options below that will leave your sweetheart pleased, smitten, or head over heels, depending on your budget. Prices reflect a one-night stay.

PLEASED (around $150)

Escape! Romance Package at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

Valentine's Day at the W Hotel
You and your honey will receive a bottle of Champagne on arrival, two complimentary drinks at any of the W's affiliated bars and restaurants, and Valentine's Day turn-down service with complimentary Bliss Body Butter to help you relax. Checkout is at 2 the next day. You can apply this deal to any of the W's accommodation levels; couples who book a VIP room or VIP suite can also indulge in a candle-lit five-course tasting menu at J&G Steakhouse.
