The Lutins du Court-métrage (French for “leprachauns of the short film”) are dedicated to promoting the best of global short film. Beginning tonight through February 13, the Alliance Française de Washington is screening the selections for best French short films of 2010 at various locations, including Napoleon Bistro and the National Gallery of Art. Today marks the start of DC’s second Meat Free Week. Many local restaurants and food trucks, such as the Source and Busboys and Poets, are offering discounts on vegetarian and vegan items.
