Where to Score a Valentine’s Day Reservation

If you haven't called yet to book a table for two, check our list of restaurants that still have openings.

According to a press release we got from OpenTable, which surveyed more than 4,000 diners about their Valentine's Day plans this weekend, you're most likely to score a table tonight: Only four percent of respondents said they'd choose Friday to dine out as an alternative to Monday. Of the survey participants who live in DC, 28 percent hadn't made reservations until this week. What does this all mean for you, our dear readers? If you're a procrastinator, you're in good company.

We did a little leg work of our own on OpenTable to see which restaurants still have seats available for two people around 7 PM for the next four nights. Luckily, lots of restaurants have openings Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Here's a list of the places we think you should call first. Now get on the phone—some of these reservations might be gone already! (For a list of restaurant menus, click here.)
