Curator Lynne Cook will lead a walking tour of the Hirshhorn Museum’s new show, “Blinky Palermo: Retrospective 1964-1977.” In addition, the museum will be open after regular hours tonight, so have a look at a number of works by the forward-thinking artist. Free.

Edward Albee’s early one-act “The Zoo Story” has been expanded into the full-length play At Home at the Zoo. It opens tonight at Arena Stage as part of the theater’s festival celebrating the playwright. See it through April 24. Buy tickets ($40) through Arena’s Web site.

Jete Untamed is the tenth-anniversary celebration of the Washington Ballet’s Jeté Society. Instead of pointe shoes and tutus, this party, held at a top-secret waterfront location, has fire breathers, carnival games, an open bar, and lots of dancing. For the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear Hamlet’s “To be or not to be” speech in Klingon (yes, from Star Trek) head to Artisphere for “By Any Other Name: An Evening of Shakespeare in Klingon.” It’s a taping for a BBC program and features performers from the Washington Shakespeare Company and an appearance by Marc Okrand, creator of the Klingon language.
