Fair Chance, a local charity that improves the lives of children and youth living in Washington’s most underserved communities, held its fifth annual Butterfly Bash at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium last Saturday. The Butterfly Bash was named after the Fair Chance logo, which intends to inspire change and transformation. Guests enjoyed live music from the Jangling Reinharts, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Washington Post editor Katharine Weymouth acted as honorary chair alongside co-chairs Julie Maner and Megan Rupp.
