Things to Do

Come to Washingtonian’s “Homeland” Finale Viewing Party

Help us celebrate the end of a fantastic (if not geographically accurate) season.

In honor of the last episode of the stellar show’s first season, we’re getting together this Sunday to send off Carrie and Brody (who may well be sending himself off, but never mind) in true Bro-mance style: with alcohol. So join us at James Hoban’s in Dupont for $4 draft Heineken specials, $1 off house wine, and Showtime, naturally, for the extended 90-minute season finale of Homeland.

The show starts at 10 PM, which is also when the kitchen closes, so we recommend getting there early if you want to eat (unlike Carrie). We’ll be there from 9 on, so meet us in the back bar and help us exchange theories on the following: who the CIA leak is, whether Carrie will get her job back, whether Dana Brody’s going to end up as the show’s unexpected hero, and why, exactly, Saul mumbles so much.

We’d love for as many of you to come as possible, but please RSVP on our Eventbrite page. And if you need a refresher on the season, re-read our episode recaps here. See you Sunday!

Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot hold this event at James Hoban’s. At such short notice, we’ve decided to cancel the event. Check back for our recap on Monday, plus an interview with the show’s creator, Alex Gansa.
