I shot this photo of Daniel for the issue three men’s fashion shoot in Loudoun County, Virginia. The license plate happened to say WORN. Photograph by Nicole Aguirre/ Worn Magazine.

Josh Yospyn shot this Polaroid of Sheldon Scott for the first ever issue of Worn. Sheldon and I are friends, and this puts a smile on my face. It reminds me of how lucky we are that we get to be free and creative with the images and articles we put into Worn. We’re lucky we get to play. Photograph by Joshua Yospyn/ Worn Magazine.

This was a marathon shoot with more than ten deejays for issue two. It was a miracle I was able to get them all into the studio over consecutive days. Jesse Tittsworth is on the left; we had an blast at the launch party that year at U Street Music Hall, which he’s part owner of. I’m very grateful to him that he let us host the party there and also deejayed that night along with all of the other deejays who were part of the shoot. Photograph by Nicole Aguirre/ Worn Magazine.

This is my favorite image from issue three because these three beautiful women look so serene. The one on the far right is my best friend Marina, and I hope when we’re both very old someday we’ll look at this photo and remember the good old days. Photograph by Nicole Aguirre/ Worn Magazine.

This photo is my all time favorite from the third Tweed Ride put on by Dandies and Quaintrelles. Eric Brewer, now my business partner for Worn Abroad, organizes on the rides, and I have shot almost all of them for the Worn blog. It’s an incredibly fun event to shoot. Josh shot this Polaroid collage of Vaki, the lead singer of the Honey Guns, for issue three. I think it’s one of the most creative spreads we’ve ever had in Worn. Photograph by Joshua Yospyn/ Worn Magazine.

This is the first-ever cover of Worn Magazine. I think when most people think of Worn, they think of this. The photo was essentially an accident. Adrian was taking a break from a shoot we were doing indoors, and Josh followed him outside with his camera when he saw Adrian hadn’t bothered to get dressed. It was shot right after Snowpocalypse on Thomas Jefferson Street in Georgetown. Photograph by Joshua Yospyn/ Worn Magazine.

This is from the Running of the Brides at Filene’s Basement in Friendship Heights. Shooting this event is like shooting the Super Bowl, except you’re on the field trying not to get tackled by the players. Photograph by Nicole Aguirre/ Worn Magazine.

The view of our issue three launch party at the Art Museum of the Americas last spring. It was a night I’ll never forget because everyone looked so beautiful and the location was spectacular. Photograph by Joshua Yospyn/ Worn Magazine.

The issue three team. Everyone has gone on to do fantastic things. Emma is now gallery director at the Fridge, Joshua Yospyn accomplished his dream of becoming a full-time photographer, and Merin Guthrie runs a fashion consulting organization with Emma called Pleatherette. Photograph by Max Cook.
