Get ready for a number of changes at Vendetta, H Street’s bocce bar and restaurant, which is under new ownership. Longtime Granville Moore’s chef Teddy Folkman and Adam Cox of traveling pop-up Maison-Dixon Hot Chicken have teamed up with nightlife empire-builder Joe Englert and Jimmy Silk (H Street Country Club) to breathe new life into the three year-old concept.

Vendetta is destined for a total makeover this year, and will become a brewpub serving Cox’s menu of uber-trendy (and also delicious) Nashville-style hot chicken. In the meantime you’ll still find bocce and trivia nights, and Italian fare from Folkman, who’s taken over the kitchen for a new “Long Island red sauce” menu, launching this week.
