Put your feet in motion at the Bright Beginnings 5K Race on April 30, 2016, at West Potomac Park at Hains Point, Washington, DC.
This annual event supports Bright Beginnings’ programming that prepares young children for kindergarten and helps their families get back on their feet! Whether you’re a weekend racer looking for a PR (and prizes), a new runner/walker that is looking for a flat course for your first big race, a mom or dad looking for a stroller friendly race, or someone that wants to participate as a virtual runner, this is the race for you!

Bright Beginnings is a nationally-accredited non-profit organization, which provides education, therapeutic, and family-stabilizing services that give 30% of Washington, DC’s homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families, the best chance of success in school and in life.
