Goodshuffle is Modernizing the Event Rental Industry

Whether you're planning your wedding, a birthday party, or corporate function, event planning just got a lot easier. Goodshuffle is a one-stop-shop for everything from tents to photobooths to vintage décor.

Goodshuffle is Modernizing the Event Rental Industry

If you’re just beginning the wedding planning process, chances are you’re feeling overwhelmed – in addition to nailing down a date and venue, you have to choose a theme and rent all kinds of equipment from furniture to linens to décor and lighting. Not to mention, no one company does it all, which means you’ll spend hours calling and emailing multiple vendors to ensure you score the best deals and have everything you need for your special day.

Fortunately for experienced planners and DIY brides alike, Goodshuffle has changed the game of wedding planning. Founded last June by two DC locals looking to modernize the event rental industry, the online marketplace serves as a one-stop-shop for all of your rental needs. A fusion of Amazon and OpenTable, you can shop for everything from furniture to lighting, compare prices, add the items you want to your cart, and then reserve them based on what’s available on your specific date. Once your items are booked, you’ll also schedule a delivery time and location.

Goodshuffle’s homepage is easy and interactive. Shop for your items, schedule your delivery, checkout, and you’re done in three simple steps.

As if it isn’t helpful enough to have all of your rental components in one place, Goodshuffle also launched convenient tools like a tent and tablecloth calculator to take the guesswork out of event planning. Never rented a tent before? It can be tricky when you consider how many variables are involved in any given event, like whether guests will be seated or standing, how many bars you have, and whether or not there’s a dance floor. Goodshuffle takes all of this into consideration for you with their three-step calculator, ensuring both first-time renters and seasoned event planners alike that they’re selecting the perfect size.

Goodshuffle’s tablecloth calculator is another handy tool, and will tell you which linens you should order based on the size and shape of your tables. Both are extremely easy (and fun!) to use. Once you’ve determined your exact needs, Goodshuffle will then match you to the vendors that carry those specific products.

The site also offers detailed inspiration boards and photo collections if you’re in the beginning stages of planning and need to get the creative juices flowing. Explore everything from a romantic winery wedding to a carnival themed birthday party to a 1950s diner-themed event, and how you can bring them to life. And, if you ever have a question while using any of Goodshuffle’s services, send a message via their convenient chatbox feature for a quick reply.

While this marketplace has certainly modernized the event rental process for consumers, it’s a revolutionary tool for vendors, too. It’s a great way to reach new clients, with Goodshuffle gathering customer details, securing payment, and sending orders directly to vendors to approve each rental that comes in. Plus, communication between renters and vendors is encouraged, so there’s full visibility on both ends.

That’s not all – be on the lookout for Goodshuffle’s new software launch for event rental companies, which will allow them to manage and oversee their day-to-day operations. The all-in-one software will serve as a central hub for rental companies to build quotes, manage inventory, and streamline internal processes. It’s just another way Goodshuffle is fueling the event rental industry’s growth via technology.

Check out Goodshuffle to get planning today, and stay on the lookout for even more features coming soon!
