The Saints bar takes the crown in our first-ever sports bar bracket.

Little Miss Whiskey’s Wins DC Sports Bar Smackdown

One month and more than 12,000 votes later, the fans have spoken: New Orleans Saints bar Little Miss Whiskey’s has been voted the best sports bar in DC.

In a matchup featuring back-to-back Super Bowl champs, Steelers bar Tortoise & Hare jumped out to a quick lead by over 1,000 votes, but on the final day of voting, Little Miss Whiskey’s roared back. For a while, the two bars hovered within mere votes of one another. Then, as voting entered its final hours, a last minute surge pushed Little Miss Whiskey’s to a well-fought win. In the end, it wasn’t even close: the H Street pub took home the title with a 1,700 vote cushion.

And so concludes the first-ever DC Sports Bar Smackdown. Thanks to all who voted. At least in this election, your voices have been heard.
