PHOTOS: Ben’s Chili Bowl Honors MLK With a March and Vigil

Ben’s Chili Bowl stayed open during the 1968 riots that followed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s death on April 4, 1968, and on Wednesday the famous U Street, Northwest, restaurant hosted a march and vigil to honor King 50 years later.
