Today at 11: Chat With Food Critic Ann Limpert

Leave a question now for Ann, and she'll get to as many as possible Friday morning.

Join us today at 11 AM to chat with Ann Limpert. Have questions about DC’s buzzy new steakhouse? The dishes you should grab for a last taste of summer? Or maybe you just need a dinner recommendation. Leave a question below, and Ann will get to as many as she can.

Ann: Morning, chatters! Hope you have had great weeks. I checked out the spanking-new St. Anselm this week (today marks its five-day birthday). The much-anticipated spot from Stephen Starr and Joe Carroll, right by Union Market, is predictably packed—and definitely feels like the coolest steak place in town. Although one friend quite aptly described the decor as “Brooklyn meets American Girl” (think lots of banners and vintage Americana plates). Foodwise, my early advice is to go for the crab-topped deviled eggs, extra-buttery butcher steak, and crunch-laden ice cream cake.

Also, tell us about all your favorite restaurants in our dining survey! We’ve been doing the survey for 41 years, the results will be published in the December issue, and there’s a $150 gift card to a José Andrés restaurant up for grabs.

Onto your questions! Ask them below; the chat transcript shows up underneath.
