Join us today at 11 AM to chat with Ann Limpert. Have a question about the demise of intern hangout institutions? Where to eat at the Delaware beaches? Or maybe you just need a dinner recommendation. Leave a question now for Ann, and she’ll get to as many as she can this morning.

Ann: Good morning! I’ve missed you, chatters, and hope you had an excellent holiday last week.

Over here, we just put our latest Eat Great Cheap issue to bed—look for it on newsstands in a couple weeks—and I’m happy to say it’s filled with a ton of fresh places (this year, we focused it on new restaurants). Detroit pizza, hot chicken sandwiches, Japanese egg salad, hand-pulled noodles, cheffy cheesesteaks, searing South Indian curries…they’re all in there. I hope you’ll check it out.

I pretty much only came out of the editing/triple-checking hole to eat. And even though I’ve spent a good bit of time there over the past couple weeks, I keep thinking about the sour, gingery flavors over at Thamee, the Burmese spot on H Street from mother/daughter team Jocelyn Law-Yone and Simone Jacobson (it’s in the old Sally’s Middle Name space). Keep your eye out for my review, but for now I’ll say, if you get one thing there, make it the pork with pickled and fresh mangos, and side it with the turmeric-tinted golden rice with fried shallots—oh, and order the Anthony Bourdain-inspired rum cocktail, too.

What’s on your minds today? Ask your questions in the form below; the chat transcript shows up underneath.
