Teeny-boppers, rejoice! Disney stars Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato, and rapper/actor/producer Bow Wow will perform at the Kids' Inaugural Concert at the Verizon Center on January 19. The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) made the official announcement earlier today.
The bad news: Tickets for the event, which celebrates the military, are gone.
The good news: The Disney Channel will broadcast the entire event on TV, over the radio, and online. Kids who log on to Disney.com/USA can get in on interactive inaugural fun with polls, games, and videos of concert performers.
The following night, some of music's heavy hitters will convene for Obama's Neighborhood Inaugural Ball, which will feature performances by Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Shakira, and Stevie Wonder. Nick Cannon will DJ the event.
