Washington has food trucks in all corners of the region today, with a good crew at L'Enfant for government workers as well as a strong showing in downtown DC. Northern Virginia is crawling with mobile vendors—and that's where we'd like to go for Doug the Food Dude's new lobster-roll wrap. Watch out, Red Hook Lobster, you've got competition. DC's West End and GWU area, where you'll find the DC Pie Truck (24th and M sts., NW), Carnivore BBQ (20th St. and Virginia Ave., NW), Sabor'a Street, and Pleasant Pops (20th St. and Virginia Ave., NW, from noon to 1; then 24th and M sts., NW, from 1 to 2; then 24th and I sts., NW, from 3 to 7).
Franklin Park (13th and K sts., NW), where you'll find Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1's third stop) and a Sâuçá truck. Pedro and Vinny's is nearby at 15th and K streets, Northwest, and a Sâuçá truck is at Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW).
Metro Center (around 12th and G sts., NW) Benethiopia from Fojol Bros., a Sâuçá truck, El Floridano, and DC Empanadas. Curbside Cupcakes is nearby at 14th and G streets, Northwest (Pinky 2's first stop).
