Monday, Feb. 5: Our very own Drew Bratcher sacrificed a Friday night in the bitter cold to get his hands on tickets for indie folk hero Sufjan Steven's show this evening. But if you weren't so lucky, or quite so dedicated, you might be able to satisfy yourself with Sufjan via video. He and the other acts who are performing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage will be broadcast in the Grand Foyer. Tuesday, Feb. 6: Valentine's Day is coming up, and you don't want to be caught shorthanded in front of your sweetheart. So to help you find the way to their heart (through their tastebuds, of course), sign up for Warren Brown's Cakelove romantic recipe class. Wednesday, Feb. 7: In honor of their new exhibition, "Red," the Textile Museum hosts a pre-Valentine's fest. At the evening's celebrations you can tour the exhibit, which focuses on textiles of the crimson variety, listen to harps playing, and make your own Valentine's out of cloth. Thursday, Feb. 8: To get your Valentine something unique this year, head on over to the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, where they'll be hosting Heart Art. If Thursday for you is more about the end of the work week, you might enjoy the Office Space Movie Festival at Arlington Cinema N' Drafthouse tonight. There'll be a DJ, movie trivia contests — even a contest to see who can do the best Bill Lumbergh impersonation.
