Four new condo, apartment, and townhouse communities that you could move into today

Each of the 117 condominiums at Gaslight Square (1700 Clarendon Blvd.; 571-249-4730) has 19-foot ceilings and a private outdoor space; many have floor-to-ceiling windows. Developed by Jim Abdo, who is known for high-end modern designs, the units have been on the market since last summer and range from $739,000 to $1.5 million.

The Avery (1200 N. Rolfe St.; 571-385-2424) has 67 one- and two-bedroom condos. There’s a gym, a rooftop terrace, and a courtyard with cabanas. Inside, modern touches include Kashmir white granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchens. Prices begin around $450,000 and go into the $900,000s for the largest two-bedrooms with dens.

Sedona (1510 Clarendon Blvd.; 866-997-4146) is two new buildings with 472 studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Communal amenities in the LEED Gold-certified buildings include a rooftop pool with views of downtown DC, an on-site personal trainer, and free Starbucks coffee. Rents range from $1,160 to $3,660.

Open since last fall, the five-story Garfield Park (925 N. Garfield St.; 877-633-3049)has 152 studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as townhouses. Rents range from $2,095 for a 576-square-foot studio to $5,620 for the largest townhouse. Open kitchens have granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, while bathrooms come with ceramic tile and double-vanity sinks. Some units have a private balcony or terrace, and there’s also a fitness center, a lounge with a pool table and TVs, and two rooftop courtyards.
