Swann House has been called one of America's most romantic inns. Surprise--it's right in DC's Dupont Circle.

Innkeeper Rick Verkler offers romantic extras (for a fee), ranging from flowers and Champagne to an in-room massage for two. Arranging unique proposals is a speciality.

"Deluxe continental" breakfast is serve-yourself and hearty; an entrée is added on weekends.
