Bethesda Custom Tailor, Bethesda, 301-656-2077. In business more than 50 years, this custom tailor and retail men’s clothing store keeps nine tuxedo styles in stock, which allows for same-day rental. Designers include Calvin Klein and Chaps by Ralph Lauren.

J.Crew, 800-205-3877. Understated dresses in a variety of cuts and colors, tuxedos and suits, and preppy outfits for flower girls and ring bearers.

Masters Tuxedo, 7 area locations. Designers include After Six, Ralph Lauren, and Bill Blass in everything from one- to seven-button jackets.

Men’s Wearhouse, ten area locations. A top vote-getter, Men’s Wearhouse has a wide selection that includes Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.
