WETA shows Make No Little Plans: Daniel Burnham & the American City, a feature-length documentary about the famed architect and urban planner. The screening will be held on the Mall at Fourth Street; Burnham was a pivotal force in redesigning the Mall in the early 20th century. 8:30.

The Golden Triangle Summer Concert series continues with a reggae performance by Jah Works in Farragut Square. Bring a blanket and relax on the grass after a day at the office. 5:30 to 7:30.

Take in a performance by the Quamon Fowler Quartet at the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Lansburgh Theatre. Fowler, an award-wining tenor saxophonist, performs with his group as part of the International VSA Festival, which celebrates artists with physical and mental disabilities. Get ready for music, food, and rainbows at the Capital Pride Festival, which takes place today along Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown DC. (The parade, another big draw, is the day before at 6:30 in and around Dupont Circle.) Enter at Seventh and Pennsylvania Avenue to gain access to beverage gardens by Nellie’s, a family section with games for children and parents, and three stages featuring musicians from across the country—including newly out-of-the-closet country singer Chely Wright—DJ music, and drag performances.
