Things to Do

Where & When: What to Do Tonight

A funny play and jewelry as art

Everyone has had one, and everyone has something to say about it: Inspired by a Web site where more than 40,000 users submitted stories of their first sexual experiences, the play My First Time is both hysterical and heartbreaking. It’s at the DC Arts Center tonight through Sunday at 7:30. Buy tickets ($15 to $20) here.

Groove to the sounds of hip-hop, electronic music, and ’80s favorites tonight at Jimmy Valentine’s Lonely Hearts Club. Sharkey starts the set at 9. No cover.

If you love bangles, baubles, and other things that sparkle, check out the Jewelry Fair at the Walters Art Museum. It runs today through Sunday, and the display features pieces in a wide range of styles, materials, and prices. 10 to 5. Admission is $10.
