This afternoon brings together two contenders ranked in the middle of the pack at 16 and 17. Will the DC Pie Truck—from the Baltimore-based company with an H Street, Northeast, storefront Dangerously Delicious Pies—and its sweet and savory pies prevail? Or will it be the currently-on-hiatus Pleasant Pops, the brainchild of a pair of friends whose summer popsicles, made from local ingredients, quickly garnered a cult following?
